Behind the Pedal

Man in a red Hawaiian shirt rides a tall bike with arms outstretched in a group bike ride.

Nick "Wiggles" Evans - PedalVibe Founder/President

If it had two wheels, Wiggles rode it. Tall bikes, swing bikes, choppers, clunkers — the crazier the build, the bigger the adventure. For Wiggles, bikes were never just transportation. They were memory makers, chaos creators, and the fastest way to turn strangers into friends.

His passion for bringing people together kicked off the Voodoo Bike Rides in 2016. What started as a local roll quickly spread to other cities, sharing that same love on two wheels across the country. But Voodoo was never just about the ride. It became riding for a cause: charity cruises, ghost bikes, awareness rides, food drives, and support for animal foundations. If the community needed it, Wiggles and the crew showed up, pedals first.

That road eventually led back home to Simi Valley, CA, where the next chapter began: PedalVibe Foundation.

PedalVibe takes everything from those wild rides, late night builds, and community events and channels it into something bigger. It is Wiggles’ way of taking the past and putting it to work, creating experiences on two wheels that spark the same joy, connection, and purpose he found in the saddle.

Every event, every build, every trash can decal is part of his dream coming to life. PedalVibe Foundation is not just his story. It is a place for the whole community to catch those vibes: Ridin. Vibin. Thrivin.

Jessie - Director

Jessie believes that the greatest impact is serving others. Throughout her life, she has dedicated over 3000 hours to volunteering, organizing fundraisers, leading community initiatives, and supporting those in need. Whether helping families affected by disasters, supporting local schools, raising funds for charitable causes, or participating in community service projects, giving back has always been at the heart of who she is.

Jessie has received awards for her philanthropy efforts from the City of Thousand Oaks, Bank of America and the Simi Valley Parent Teacher Association.

Jessie discovered the #bikelife in 2023 and found more than a new hobby, she found a family built on love, positivity, and service. Inspired by the generosity and spirit of this community, she became involved with the Pedal Vibe Foundation, where she combines her lifelong passion for community outreach with the #bikelife community.

Through the Foundation, she is committed to creating opportunities for people to ride with purpose, build meaningful connections, and make a positive impact in our community.

Let’s all pedal it forward, one ride and act of kindness at a time!

J-Evans - IT Support

As far back as I can remember, I have always been someone who likes to tinker, build, and figure things out. It started with taking apart my toys as a kid, eventually moving on to bicycles, computers, and just about anything else I could get my hands on. I have always been curious about how things work, and even when I didn't know exactly what I was doing, I was never afraid to take something apart, learn from it, and put it back together.

That same mindset has followed me throughout my life. At around 12 years old, I began taking computers apart and rebuilding them. I taught myself through trial and error, learning as I went. Since then, I have built more than a dozen computers and learned how to configure and program them myself. I'm not going to claim that I'm the best technician in the world, but one thing I can promise is that when there is a problem, I will do everything I can to find a solution and get the job done.

Over the years, I have worked a variety of jobs and gained experience in many different fields, but one of the most meaningful parts of my life has always been my connection to bicycles and the community surrounding them.

Since childhood, my cousin Wiggles and I have been side by side for just about everything—hanging out, riding, working on bikes, and finding something to get into. As we grew older, we realized that bikes were more than just something we rode. Bike life became a lifestyle.
